Usually found in the lower forest. It is hard to id because it is a tree and trees grow tall out of sight range sometimes.

Background Information

Lonomea is an endemic plant to Hawaii. In ancient times, Hawaiians used the seeds for medicine and the flowers for lei making. They also used the wood for spears. Lonomea is in the olive family and when fruiting will produce an olive size fruit.
